# Ad libraries for your AI agent: every live creative a competitor runs

RouterGrowth gives an agent the public ad libraries through one MCP server: every live creative in the Meta Ad Library by advertiser or keyword, and in the Google Ads Transparency Center by advertiser domain, with copy, media and first-seen dates. The agent reads the landing pages with the same key.

## What your agent can do

| Capability | What it returns | Providers | From | Status |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| [`ads.search`](https://www.routergrowth.com/catalog/ads.search) | Public ad creatives from the Meta Ad Library (advertiser or keyword) or the Google Ads Transparency Center (advertiser domain). | Apify | $0.0088 per search | live |
| [`web.scrape`](https://www.routergrowth.com/catalog/web.scrape) | Clean markdown of a page or site for agent context. | Firecrawl, Apify | $0.0056 per page | live |
| [`social.posts`](https://www.routergrowth.com/catalog/social.posts) | Recent public posts for a social handle. | Apify | $0.002 per result | live |
| [`ads.spend_estimate`](https://www.routergrowth.com/catalog/ads.spend_estimate) | Estimated advertising budget for a domain across networks. | none yet |  | coming soon |

## Ask it like this

- Show me every ad these five competitors are running on Meta and Google, and which have run the longest. (`ads.search`)
- Each Monday, tell me which new ads my rivals launched and what each landing page promises. (`ads.search`, `web.scrape`)
- Find the ads in our category that mention a free trial, and group them by angle. (`ads.search`)

## Connect

MCP server: `https://api.routergrowth.com/mcp` (OAuth, or an API key header).

```bash
claude mcp add --transport http routergrowth https://api.routergrowth.com/mcp
```

```bash
npm install -g routergrowth && routergrowth setup
routergrowth run -c ads.search -i '{"query": "hubspot.com", "platform": "google", "limit": 20}'
```

```bash
curl -X POST https://api.routergrowth.com/v1/run \
  -H "Authorization: Bearer $ROUTERGROWTH_API_KEY" \
  -d '{"capability": "ads.search", "input": {"query": "hubspot.com", "platform": "google", "limit": 20}}'
```

## Worth knowing

- **What the libraries show.** Creative, copy, format and start date. They do not show spend or results for commercial ads, so running time is the signal to read.
- **Two libraries as capabilities.** Meta (Facebook and Instagram) and Google. LinkedIn's library can be reached as a provider's raw endpoint with the same key.
- **The page behind the ad.** web.scrape reads where the ad sends people, which is where the offer is spelled out.

## Questions

### Is there a Meta Ad Library API?

Meta's own Ad Library API is built mainly for political and social-issue ads. ads.search returns the commercial creatives shown in the public library, by advertiser or keyword, as JSON.

### Can I see a competitor's Google ads?

Yes. Pass the advertiser's domain with the Google platform and ads.search returns what the Ads Transparency Center lists for it.

### Can I see how much a competitor spends on ads?

No public library publishes spend for commercial ads. How long a creative has run, and in how many variants, is the best public sign that it works.

### Does it cover the LinkedIn ad library?

Not as a catalog capability today. It is reachable as a raw provider endpoint with the same key and balance.
