# Turn a company domain into headcount, industry, HQ and revenue

Give company.enrich a domain and get the company record back: name, description, industry, employee range and count, founding year and headquarters, and, when the answering provider has them, revenue, NAICS and SIC codes, headcount by department, headcount growth and the technologies seen. Several providers try in turn until one knows the company.

## The call

[`company.enrich`](https://www.routergrowth.com/catalog/company.enrich): Firmographics for a company from its domain.

Price on this network: $0.007 per match plus $0.000088 per call, $0.002 minimum a call. The exact quote is shown before every run.

## What a real run returned

Run on 2026-10-26: 1 records in 8.9 s for $0.048. Personal fields are masked. Figma from figma.com: the first provider had no match, the next answered with headcount, a 1.1B revenue figure, NAICS codes, a department split and 6, 12 and 24 month growth.

| name | industry | employee_count | founded | hq | revenue |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Figma | design | 1900 | 2012 | San Francisco, United States | 1.1B |

## How to do it

1. **List the domains.** One company domain per row, without paths, such as figma.com.
2. **Call company.enrich.** Send the domain. The run tries providers in turn and says which one answered.
3. **Map the fields.** Write industry, employee_count, founded and location into your CRM columns.
4. **Segment the list.** Filter on headcount, industry or growth to pick the accounts to work first.

## Ask it like this

- Enrich these 50 company domains and flag the ones in software with 200 to 2,000 employees. (`company.enrich`)
- Enrich figma.com, list the tools its site runs, and tell me which departments are growing. (`company.enrich`, `company.technologies`)
- Enrich these ten accounts, then find the heads of marketing at the three fastest growing ones. (`company.enrich`, `people.search`)

## Worth knowing

- **Fields vary by provider.** The core fields are always there. Departments, growth and codes appear when the answering provider has them.
- **Empty means not stated.** An empty funding or revenue field means the source did not state it, not that the value is zero.
- **Company only.** No people come back. Use people.search for the people at the company.

## Questions

### Which fields come back?

Name, description, website, industry, employee range and count, founding year and location, plus extra fields depending on the provider.

### Can I enrich a whole list?

Yes. One run per domain; batch_run sends up to 200 at once.

### Where does the data come from?

Company databases and public company pages, through several providers. The run names the one that answered.

### Does it need the company name?

No. The domain is enough. A LinkedIn company URL can be added to help one of the routes.
