# See which ecommerce, analytics, CDN and tag tools a site runs

Give company.technologies a domain and get the technologies detected on its site, each with a name, a category such as ecommerce or tag_managers and a group such as sales or analytics, plus the site's title, description, domain rank and the date it was last crawled. Use it to qualify a list by stack, such as stores on Shopify.

## The call

[`company.technologies`](https://www.routergrowth.com/catalog/company.technologies): Technology stack detected for a company.

Price on this network: $0.021 per match. The exact quote is shown before every run.

## What a real run returned

Run on 2026-10-26: 4 records in 0.6 s for $0.024. Personal fields are masked. Four technologies on allbirds.com, from a crawl dated 2026-10-25: Shopify for ecommerce, Google Tag Manager, Cloudflare as CDN, and HTTP/3.

| name | category | group |
|---|---|---|
| Shopify | ecommerce | sales |
| Google Tag Manager | tag_managers | analytics |
| Cloudflare | cdn | servers |

## How to do it

1. **List the domains.** One domain per row, such as allbirds.com.
2. **Call company.technologies.** Send the domain. Each technology comes back with name, category and group.
3. **Filter by category.** Keep the rows where category is ecommerce, or where name matches the tool you sell against.
4. **Enrich the matches.** Run company.enrich on the kept domains for headcount and industry.

## Ask it like this

- Check these 40 store domains and keep the ones running Shopify. (`company.technologies`)
- Find which analytics and tag tools our five competitors load, and enrich each company with headcount and HQ. (`company.technologies`, `company.enrich`)

## Worth knowing

- **From a crawl, not live.** The stack comes from the latest crawl of the site, dated in last_visited, not from a visit at call time.
- **Front end only.** It sees what the public site loads. Back office tools and internal systems do not show.
- **Short lists happen.** A site can show only a few technologies. That is what was detected, not a full inventory.

## Questions

### Is the check live?

No. It reads the latest crawl of the site; last_visited gives its date.

### Can I find every site using a technology?

Not with this call. It goes from one domain to its stack.

### Does it show versions?

No. Each technology has a name, a category and a group.

### Does it return contacts?

It can return a public contact address the crawl found on the site, never people.
