## Worth knowing

- **Charged on a match.** A lookup that finds nothing costs nothing. Budget from the number of people you expect to find, not the number you try.
- **Verification is its own call.** Verify the addresses you already hold without paying to find them again. A verdict of unknown, when the mail server cannot be reached, is free.
- **Several finders, one call.** The router tries the next provider when the first one misses, which is what a waterfall tool charges a subscription for.
