# Find where to reach a brand from its YouTube channel

A brand's YouTube channel lists its website and other networks, and sometimes an email in the description. social.profile reads the channel by handle and returns subscribers, the description, every listed link, the main website, location and an email when one is public. The business inquiries email behind YouTube's sign-in is not part of it.

Run on 2026-10-19: 1 records in 12.7 s for $0.00525. Personal fields are masked. A fitness apparel brand's channel: 727,000 subscribers, a shop link and six listed links to its other networks; no email was public on the channel.

## How to do it

## Worth knowing

- **The inquiries button is out of reach.** YouTube hides the business email behind a sign-in and a captcha. The call only returns what is public.
- **Links are the useful part.** Channels list their other networks, so one read gives the agent several more places to look.
- **Use the exact @handle.** A wrong or unused handle can come back as an empty profile, so copy it from the channel URL.

## Questions

### Will it return the email from About, View email address?

No. That step requires a signed-in YouTube session and a captcha.

### Does it list videos?

No. social.posts returns a channel's recent videos.

### Can I pass a channel URL?

Pass the @handle. The call builds the channel URL from it.
