# Facebook for your AI agent: pages, posts and every ad a brand is running

RouterGrowth gives an agent Facebook as data through one MCP server: search public posts, pull a page's recent posts and profile, and read every live creative an advertiser runs in the Meta Ad Library. Each call is paid on its own.

## What your agent can do

| Capability | What it returns | Providers | From | Status |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| [`ads.search`](https://www.routergrowth.com/catalog/ads.search) | Public ad creatives from the Meta Ad Library (advertiser or keyword) or the Google Ads Transparency Center (advertiser domain). | Apify | $0.0088 per search | live |
| [`social.search`](https://www.routergrowth.com/catalog/social.search) | Public posts matching a keyword on X, LinkedIn, Reddit, YouTube, TikTok, Instagram or Facebook: brand mentions, category conversations, competitor chatter. | Apify | $0.002 per result | live |
| [`social.posts`](https://www.routergrowth.com/catalog/social.posts) | Recent public posts for a social handle. | Apify | $0.002 per result | live |
| [`social.profile`](https://www.routergrowth.com/catalog/social.profile) | Public profile data for a social handle: name, followers, bio, verified, plus the bio link, every listed link, the person's own domain (link hubs such as Linktree excluded), a public or business email when the profile exposes one, profile URL, business flag, category and location when the platform provides them. | Apify | $0.002 per match | live |

## Ask it like this

- Show me every ad this brand is running on Facebook and Instagram right now, oldest first. (`ads.search`)
- Pull the last 20 posts from these competitor pages and tell me what they promote. (`social.posts`)
- Find public posts that mention our product name this month. (`social.search`)

## Connect

MCP server: `https://api.routergrowth.com/mcp` (OAuth, or an API key header).

```bash
claude mcp add --transport http routergrowth https://api.routergrowth.com/mcp
```

```bash
npm install -g routergrowth && routergrowth setup
routergrowth run -c ads.search -i '{"query": "Glossier", "platform": "meta", "limit": 20}'
```

```bash
curl -X POST https://api.routergrowth.com/v1/run \
  -H "Authorization: Bearer $ROUTERGROWTH_API_KEY" \
  -d '{"capability": "ads.search", "input": {"query": "Glossier", "platform": "meta", "limit": 20}}'
```

## Worth knowing

- **Public pages only.** The catalog reads public pages and posts. It does not read private groups or profiles, and it does not post.
- **The ad library is the strongest signal.** ads.search returns the live creatives for an advertiser or a keyword, with copy, media and the date each one first ran.
- **Not your ad account.** This is research on public ads. It does not connect to or change your own Meta ad account.
