# Turn a Google Maps search into a lead list with websites and phones

Name a trade and a city. RouterGrowth scrapes the businesses Google Maps lists for it and returns each as a lead row: name, phone, website and domain, address, rating, review count and whether the owner claimed the listing. The agent then qualifies them and finds an email from the domain.

## How to do it

1. **Name the trade and the city.** Pass the category and a City,State,Country location to local.places.
2. **Qualify the list.** Ask for the businesses with a website, more than 50 reviews, or a listing the owner never claimed.
3. **Find a person.** contact.find takes the domain and returns a work email when one is found; a miss is not charged.
4. **Export.** Ask for a CSV, or save the rows to a workspace table to work through later.

## Worth knowing

- **Phones and websites included.** Each listing carries the phone and website Google Maps shows. Some listings have neither.
- **Claimed or not.** claimed tells you whether the owner manages the listing, a common filter for agencies selling local SEO.
- **Leads, not consent.** The scraper returns public business listings. Contacting them is your step, under your own outreach rules.

## Questions

### Does it return email addresses?

No. Listings carry phone and website. Use contact.find on the domain for a work email.

### How many leads per search?

One page of listings per search; this run returned 20. Run nearby cities or neighbourhoods for more.

### Can I filter by rating or reviews?

Yes. The agent filters the rows it gets back on rating, reviews_count or claimed.

### Is it only for the US?

No. Any city and country Google Maps covers works.
