# Scrape LinkedIn jobs for a title in a city, without a scraper to run

Ask for a job title and a city. RouterGrowth returns the matching postings as rows: title, hiring company, its LinkedIn page, location, posting date, link and the full description. The scraping, proxies and page changes are handled behind the call, so the agent gets a list of companies hiring for the role.

## The call

[`company.jobs`](https://www.routergrowth.com/catalog/company.jobs): Job postings for a company, or matching a title and location: the hiring signal behind most buying intent.

Price on this network: $0.00175 per job posting plus $0.00175 per call, $0.002 minimum a call. The exact quote is shown before every run.

## What a real run returned

Run on 2026-10-19: 10 records in 8.0 s for $0.01925. Personal fields are masked. Ten account executive postings from ten companies, nine in the Chicago area and one in Utah, all posted in the three days before the run.

| title | company | location | posted_at |
|---|---|---|---|
| Google (AGBG) Mid Market Sales Account Executive | Accenture | Chicago, IL, United States | 2026-10-19 |
| Account Executive, Commercial Sales FINS | Docusign | Chicago, IL, United States | 2026-10-18 |
| Senior Account Executive | MiQ | Chicago, IL, United States | 2026-10-17 |

## How to do it

1. **Connect RouterGrowth once.** Add the MCP server to Claude, ChatGPT, Claude Code, Codex or Cursor. A new workspace starts with $1 of credit, enough to run this example many times.
2. **Say the role and the place.** Give a job title as it appears in postings and a location written as City,State,Country.
3. **Get the postings.** company.jobs returns each posting with the hiring company and its LinkedIn page, so the list doubles as an account list.
4. **Turn jobs into accounts.** Ask the agent to dedupe by company and enrich each one, or find the hiring manager's team.

## Ask it like this

- Which companies in Chicago posted an account executive role this week? One row per company. (`company.jobs`)
- Find SDR openings in Austin and enrich each hiring company with headcount and industry. (`company.jobs`, `company.enrich`)
- For each company hiring a RevOps manager in London, list its sales leaders. (`company.jobs`, `people.search`)

## Connect

MCP server: `https://api.routergrowth.com/mcp`

```bash
claude mcp add --transport http routergrowth https://api.routergrowth.com/mcp
```

```bash
npm install -g routergrowth && routergrowth setup
routergrowth run -c company.jobs -i '{"query": "account executive", "location": "Chicago,Illinois,United States", "limit": 10}'
```

```bash
curl -X POST https://api.routergrowth.com/v1/run \
  -H "Authorization: Bearer $ROUTERGROWTH_API_KEY" \
  -d '{"capability": "company.jobs", "input": {"query": "account executive", "location": "Chicago,Illinois,United States", "limit": 10}}'
```

## Worth knowing

- **Nothing to maintain.** No scraper code, proxies or rotating sessions on your side; the call returns rows or a clear error.
- **Title words only.** The match runs on posting titles. Write the role the way employers title it, not a skill from the description.
- **One company can repeat.** A company hiring several reps shows up once per posting. Ask the agent to group by company.

## Questions

No. The call reads public postings with your RouterGrowth key only.

### How do I write the location?

City, state and country separated by commas, for example Chicago,Illinois,United States.

### Does it apply to jobs or contact recruiters?

No. It is read-only: it lists postings and takes no action on LinkedIn.

### How many postings can one call return?

Set limit; this example used 10. The charge covers the postings that come back.
