# Scrape the comments under a TikTok video and read what viewers ask

## How to do it

1. **Pick the video.** Paste the URL, or ask social.posts for a brand's recent videos and choose by replies.
2. **Scrape the comments.** social.comments infers TikTok from the URL; set a limit for how many to read.
3. **Sort them.** Ask the agent to group the comments into questions, complaints and mentions of other brands.

## Worth knowing

- **Reply counts included.** Each TikTok comment carries its reply count, which shows the comments that started a thread.
- **One video per call.** The input is a single video URL; a list of videos is run one by one.
- **Reads only.** Nothing is posted, liked or replied to.

### What does each comment include?

Text, author handle, likes, reply count, created_at and the video URL.

### Does it scrape replies to comments?

It returns the reply count for each comment, not the text of the replies.

### Do I need a TikTok login?

No. Public videos only, with no account of yours.

### Will TikTok block it?

Blocks and retries are handled on the RouterGrowth side, and a run that returns nothing is not charged.
