RouterGrowth connects an agent to your WhatsApp account through one MCP server: check whether a number is on WhatsApp, send a message, reply in a chat and read the conversations. You link the account once with a QR code or a pairing code.

## Worth knowing

- **Your own account.** Messages go out from the number you link. You are the sender of record, and the account is billed monthly while it is connected.
- **One to one.** Text to a number or a reply in a chat. Channels, Communities and Broadcasts are not supported.
- **A follow-up channel.** It works best after a first touch by email or LinkedIn, to people who gave you the number.

### Is there a WhatsApp MCP server?

RouterGrowth is an MCP server with WhatsApp send, reply, read and number lookup as tools, on the account you link.

### Do I need the WhatsApp Business API?

No. You link an existing WhatsApp account with a QR code or a pairing code on a hosted page.

### Can it send bulk broadcasts?

No. It sends individual messages and replies. Broadcasts, Channels and Communities are not supported.

### Can the agent tell whether a number uses WhatsApp?

Yes. whatsapp.profile checks an international phone number and returns the available profile.
