# How X (Twitter) data is priced on RouterGrowth: per post, no plan

Reading X posts through RouterGrowth is billed per post returned from a prepaid wallet. inspect shows the price before anything runs, max_cost caps the call, and the receipt shows the provider and the charge. There is no tier to buy and nothing here reflects X's own developer prices.

## The call

[`social.posts`](https://www.routergrowth.com/catalog/social.posts): Recent public posts for a social handle.

Price on this network: $0.0007 per post, $0.002 minimum a call. The exact quote is shown before every run.

## What a real run returned

Run on 2026-10-19: 10 records in 5.2 s for $0.007. Personal fields are masked. Ten recent posts from @NotionHQ, mostly retweets with two original posts; the cost shown is the charge for all ten.

| text | likes | views | posted |
|---|---|---|---|
| Agents change. Your context shouldn’t. | 234 | 19475 | 2026-10-17 |
| Tab hoarders, this one's for you. | 255 | 20773 | 2026-10-16 |

## How to do it

1. **Check the price.** The price block on this page and inspect show the rate per post on X before you run anything.
2. **Set a cap.** Pass max_cost on the run. A call that would cost more is refused instead of charged.
3. **Run it.** The charge settles on the posts returned, so a short read costs less than the quote.
4. **Review the spend.** Each run has a receipt with records and charge, and the dashboard totals spend by capability.

## Ask it like this

- What would it cost to pull the last 100 posts from five SaaS brands on X? Show the quote, then run it under a cap. (`social.posts`)
- Search X for our brand name each day and tell me what that costs over a month at 20 posts a day. (`social.search`)

## Worth knowing

- **No X price list.** This page does not list X's API tiers. RouterGrowth is independent and prices calls on its own catalog.
- **Charged per post.** The unit is a post returned. Asking for ten and getting six bills six.
- **One wallet.** X, Reddit, LinkedIn and SERP calls all draw from the same prepaid balance.

## Questions

### How much does one X post cost?

The live price is in the block on this page; inspect returns the same number before a call.

### Is there a minimum spend?

No. A wallet top up covers any number of calls, and optional monthly plans lower the rate.

### Am I charged for a handle that does not exist?

No posts returned means no per post charge.

### Does this include X's enterprise API?

No. RouterGrowth is not X's API and does not sell access to it.
