Read a LinkedIn company page's posts through one REST call

Pass a company page as company/<name> and a limit. RouterGrowth returns the page's recent public posts as JSON records: text, link, date, likes, comments and reposts. It is an independent service, not LinkedIn's official API, so there is no developer app, partner review or OAuth flow to get through, only a RouterGrowth key.

Real run: 6 records $0.0035 per post social.posts MCP · REST · CLI

Ask your agent

Pull the last 20 posts from these five competitors' LinkedIn company pages and rank them by comments.

Connect RouterGrowth once, then ask in plain words. New workspaces start with $1 of credit. Get a key or read the setup guide.

A real run

What does it return?

One call to social.posts (social posts & content), run through RouterGrowth on October 19, 2026. These are the first rows it returned; fields that name a person are masked.

Six recent posts from HubSpot's public LinkedIn company page, each with its like, comment and repost counts.

Step by step

How do you do it?

  1. Get a key

Create a RouterGrowth workspace and copy the API key from the dashboard. The same key works from the REST API, the CLI and the MCP server.

  2. Name the page

Use the company slug from the page URL, written as company/hubspot, and a limit for how many posts to read.

  3. Call social.posts

POST the capability, platform linkedin and the handle to the run endpoint. The response carries the quote, the charge and the posts in one JSON body.

  4. Use the records

Each post has an id, url, text, created_at, author and an engagement object, the same shape social.posts returns for X, Facebook or YouTube.

Price

What does it cost?

List prices on LinkedIn, read from the catalog when this page was built. The exact figure is quoted before every run, and a monthly plan lowers it.

$0.0035per post
$0.000088per call, on top of the posts
$0when the call finds nothing

In practice

What do you ask it?

You describe the job; the agent picks the calls, shows the price and runs them.

Pull the last 20 posts from these five competitors' LinkedIn company pages and rank them by comments.

Read HubSpot's recent LinkedIn posts, then the comments under the two posts with the most replies.

Enrich each company in this list from its domain, then add its ten latest LinkedIn posts.

Connect

How do you connect it?

One MCP server for Claude, ChatGPT, Claude Code, Codex and Cursor, or the same call over the CLI and REST with the input above.

MCP server
claude mcp add --transport http routergrowth https://api.routergrowth.com/mcp
CLI
npm install -g routergrowth && routergrowth setup
routergrowth run -c social.posts -i '{"platform": "linkedin", "handle": "company/hubspot", "limit": 6}'
REST
curl -X POST https://api.routergrowth.com/v1/run \
  -H "Authorization: Bearer $ROUTERGROWTH_API_KEY" \
  -d '{"capability": "social.posts", "input": {"platform": "linkedin", "handle": "company/hubspot", "limit": 6}}'

Worth knowing

What should you know first?

Not the official API

RouterGrowth reads public LinkedIn pages through its own providers. It does not publish posts, read page analytics or act as a page admin.

One shape across networks

The post record is the same for LinkedIn, X, Facebook and YouTube, so one parser covers every network you track.

Billed per post

The quote is shown before the call, a hold covers the limit, and the charge covers the posts that come back.

FAQ

Questions about api linkedin

Is this LinkedIn's official API?

No. RouterGrowth is an independent service that reads public company pages. It is not affiliated with LinkedIn.

Do I need a LinkedIn developer app or an OAuth token?

No. One RouterGrowth API key authenticates the call; no LinkedIn app, scope or approval is involved.

Can it post or read follower analytics?

No. This call is read-only and returns public posts. Impressions, follower demographics and admin data stay in LinkedIn's own tools.

How do I write the handle?

Use company/ followed by the slug from the page URL, for example company/hubspot. The full page URL works too.

What does each post include?

Its id, URL, text, publish date, author, a video flag and engagement: likes, comments and reposts.
