Tools / Network
RouterGrowth gives an agent LinkedIn through one MCP server: public profiles, posts, comments, company pages, people search and job postings as data, then connection requests and messages sent from the account you connect. It works in Claude, ChatGPT, Claude Code, Codex and Cursor, and each call is paid on its own.
Ask your agent
Find 50 heads of RevOps in Berlin who posted about switching CRM this month, and draft a connection note for each from what they wrote.
Connect RouterGrowth once, then ask in plain words. New workspaces start with $1 of credit. Get a key or read the setup guide.
LinkedIn tools
Each row is one tool your agent can call. The price is the lowest a successful call costs at list price; where a tool serves several networks it can differ by network, and the tool's own page lists each one. The exact figure is quoted before every run.
| Tool | What it returns | Providers | From |
|---|---|---|---|
| Social post searchsocial.search | Public posts matching a keyword on X, LinkedIn, Reddit, YouTube, TikTok, Instagram or Facebook: brand mentions, category conversations, competitor chatter. | Apify |
$0.002per result |
| Social posts & contentsocial.posts | Recent public posts for a social handle. | Apify |
$0.002per result |
| Post commentssocial.comments | Comments on one public post URL (YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn, Reddit, and replies to a post on X): text, author, likes, replies, time. | Apify |
$0.002per result |
| Social profile lookupsocial.profile | Public profile data for a social handle: name, followers, bio, verified, plus the bio link, every listed link, the person's own domain (link hubs such as Linktree excluded), a public or business email when the profile exposes one, profile URL, business flag, category and location when the platform provides them. | Apify |
$0.002per match |
| Person enrichmentperson.enrich | Full professional profile from a public LinkedIn profile URL or a work email: name, headline, about, location and the complete role history. | Apify Apollo |
$0.007per match |
| People searchpeople.search | Build a people list from filters: titles, seniority, company headcount, location, industry keywords. Returns profiles with current role and company. The lead database answers first, from a fraction of a cent a person and without emails: find them with contact.find, or pin the route that returns a known company's people with their work email. | Apify Apollo Icypeas |
$0.002per result |
| Company searchcompany.search | Companies matching a keyword, optionally filtered by location: name, website, industry, size, headquarters and description. A company database answers first; a live LinkedIn company search follows when it finds nothing. | Apify Apollo Icypeas |
$0.002per search |
| Open jobscompany.jobs | Job postings for a company, or matching a title and location: the hiring signal behind most buying intent. | Apify LeadMagic |
$0.004per result |
| Your LinkedIn accountlinkedin.account | Connect a LinkedIn account for outbound: returns a hosted sign-in link the account holder opens once (the password never touches RouterGrowth), then reports the connection status. Without a name it reports the account already connected instead of minting a link. Run again with the name to confirm or to get a reconnect link. Free to run; a connected account rents a seat billed monthly. | Unipile |
freeper call |
| LinkedIn people searchlinkedin.search | Search people from your connected LinkedIn account (classic search, or Sales Navigator when the account has it): keywords, location, company, industry, connection degree. Returns provider ids ready for linkedin.invite. | Unipile |
$0.002per search |
| LinkedIn profilelinkedin.profile | One LinkedIn profile as your connected account sees it: name, headline, location, current role, connection degree (1 means the invitation was accepted), open-profile flag. Use it to check acceptance before messaging. | Unipile |
$0.002per profile |
| LinkedIn connection requestlinkedin.invite | Send a LinkedIn invitation (a connection request) from your connected account, with an optional personalized note (200 characters, 300 on a Premium account; a free account gets about 5 noted invitations a month, then send without a note). Already connected, already invited, or an invitation LinkedIn will not let you resend yet (withdrawn in the last few weeks) comes back as a miss for that person, never as a duplicate send. | Unipile |
$0.009per invitation |
| LinkedIn invitations sentlinkedin.invitations_sent | The pending connection requests on your connected account, counted today (the day starts again at 00:00 UTC) and over the last 7 days against the caps (30 a day on RouterGrowth, 20 in the account's first week connected; roughly 200 a week on LinkedIn; about 5 with a note a month on a free account), with how many more to send now and the recent invitations with their notes. Free. Run it before a batch of linkedin.invite. | Unipile |
freeper call |
| LinkedIn messagelinkedin.message | Message a connection from your account, reply in an existing thread, or send an InMail to someone you are not connected to. InMail credits belong to one LinkedIn product: inmail:true draws on the Premium credits, api recruiter or sales_navigator sends through that seat and its credits. linkedin.accounts with inmail_credits:true shows each balance before you send. You are the sender of record. | Unipile |
$0.009per message |
| Read LinkedIn inboxlinkedin.messages | Conversations on your connected account, newest first, with unread counts; pass chat_id to read one thread. Poll it after invitations and messages to catch replies. | Unipile |
$0.002per read |

In practice
You do not call tools by name. You describe the job, and the agent finds the tools, shows the price and runs them.
Find 50 heads of RevOps in Berlin who posted about switching CRM this month, and draft a connection note for each from what they wrote.
Pull everyone who commented on this LinkedIn post, enrich the ones at companies with 50 to 500 people and find their work email.
Check who accepted my invitations this week and send each of them a first message.
Connect
One MCP server for Claude, ChatGPT, Claude Code, Codex and Cursor, or the same calls over the CLI and REST. The example runs social.search.
claude mcp add --transport http routergrowth https://api.routergrowth.com/mcp
npm install -g routergrowth && routergrowth setup
routergrowth run -c social.search -i '{"platform": "linkedin", "query": "switching CRM", "limit": 25}'curl -X POST https://api.routergrowth.com/v1/run \
-H "Authorization: Bearer $ROUTERGROWTH_API_KEY" \
-d '{"capability": "social.search", "input": {"platform": "linkedin", "query": "switching CRM", "limit": 25}}'In claude.ai and ChatGPT, add https://api.routergrowth.com/mcp as a connector and approve the workspace in the browser. Setup for every client.
Worth knowing
Public data (profiles, posts, comments, search, company pages, jobs) needs no LinkedIn account of yours. Outreach runs on your own account, connected once through a hosted sign-in: the password never reaches RouterGrowth.
Invitations are spaced at least a minute apart and capped at 30 a day, 20 in the first week an account is connected. A send past the cap is refused and costs nothing.
The same connection finds the email when LinkedIn is not the right channel, so a list built here can go out by email without another tool.

FAQ
RouterGrowth is an independent MCP server, not a LinkedIn product. It exposes public LinkedIn data and, for outreach, your own connected account, to any agent that speaks MCP.
Yes, from the account you connect. linkedin.invite sends a request with an optional note, linkedin.message writes to a connection or replies in a thread, and linkedin.messages reads the inbox. You are the sender of record.
No. linkedin.search runs classic search, and uses Sales Navigator when the connected account has it. people.search builds lists from filters without any LinkedIn account at all.
A scraper returns pages. Here the agent asks for a result (the people who commented, the posts about a topic, a profile with its role history) and gets structured records, with the provider chosen for it and the price shown before the call.
Each capability has its own per-call price, listed in the table above and quoted before a run. There is no monthly plan to start: a new workspace gets $1 of credit and you top up a prepaid balance.
